In a significant development, a resident from a village in the Usawan police station area filed a petition in the Additional District Judge Special Court POCSO Court under Section 156 (3) of the CrPC. The petitioner alleged that his two daughters, students at the Government Ashram Method School in Samrer Block, were subjected to inappropriate conduct by the District Social Welfare Officer, Ramjanam, during an inspection conducted on January 22.

The inspection, involving Principal Sushma Gautam, reportedly took an alarming turn when the officer allegedly made the daughters sit on his lap and engaged in inappropriate acts, threatening repercussions if they resisted. The Additional District Judge Special Court, POCSO Court Judge Deepak Yadav, has ordered the Dataganj police station's inspector in-charge to file an FIR within 24 hours, initiating a thorough investigation.
